THE LORD HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR US AND WE ARE FILLED WITH JOY!!!!

For exactly seven weeks, I have looked forward to the day when I could finally write this post!!!! And now that the day is finally here, there just are not words for this!!! I think this comes the closest:

When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed.
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."
The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with JOY!!!!
(Psalm 126)

We received word this morning that AJ has been officially assigned to our family! We can say nothing other than this is truly a miracle and that only the hand of God could do this. Never before have they ever reversed an assignment!! Our attorney has exclaimed over and over how truly miraculous it is, because "this never happens". Except for GOD. :) The Spanish family was informed of the situation and the government offered to assign them a two year old little boy. It was their decision to release the assignment of AJ and to accept the assignment of the little boy! We rejoice knowing that a little boy now has a forever family, and that sweet AJ will finally come home to our family!!!

We can't express enough our gratitude for all of the prayers and help we have received from so many of you through all of this! We have not been alone in this battle, and today, we truly hope that you will experience the joy that this amazing victory brings!!

We have a few more hurdles to get through and will finally bring AJ home forever within the next several months. We would so appreciate your continued prayers for this process until it is finaly completely finished!!! It is our prayer that God continue to be glorified through all of this to the very end.

There are some other important pieces of news, but the time is not yet right for them. God is so very good, and His plans are so intricate and so amazing. I pray that each of you will be blessed today to know how much He loves you. May your day be filled with joy!

ok, i had to pop over and visit ... i volunteer for Katie and do a lot of her comment moderation here in the states since she has such bad internet connection ... your words of encouragement to her were so kind and real ... i pray daily that God will use me in her life as a true source of encouragement .. i love her like a daughter and have learned so much from her faith walk ...

I also wanted to say CONGRATS on your big news ... We are in the process of brining home two more angels through adoption ... What a gift from God adoption truly is !!!

Blessings to your family !!!
